HOW DOES THE REAL SIBERIAN CHAGA MUSHROOM LOOK?
The chaga on the picture is genuine Siberian chaga.
IS RUSSIAN SIBERIAN CHAGA BETTER THAN CHAGA ORIGINATED FROM OTHER PLACES?
Yes. Because the chaga that we offer is wild grown, harvested in wild forests of Siberia. Siberia is known for its harsh climate and very low winter temperatures. Siberian winters last for almost 7-8 months. Chaga mushroom grown in such conditions aquires much more biologically active substances than chaga harvested in other areas. This can be proved by certificate of analysis. Whereas cultivated (artificial, non-wild) chaga cannot be even called 'chaga' due to its completly different chemical composition.
WHAT IS BETTER CHAGA TEA OR CHAGA EXTRACT?
What is chaga tea?
Chaga tea is a dried and ground chaga mushroom. Provided it is infused correctly, chaga tea aquires pleasant taste and some health supporting properties. But concentration of biologically active substances in a tea is still insignificant comparing to chaga concentrate (dry extract powder).
What is chaga extract?
Chaga extract is a highly concentrated powder produced by hot water extraction from wild chaga. This extract powder is saturated with antioxidants and currently is a very popular dietary supplement in many countries.
IS YOUR CHAGA EXTRACT SAFE?
Yes, if our chaga extract is taken in recommended amount it is absolutely safe. Up to this day we have not received any complaints from our customers and neither we have heard any reports about adverse reactions.
I'VE HEARD THAT SIBERIAN CHAGA EXTRACT IS ANTICANCER MEDICINE. IS THAT TRUE?

WHERE DO YOU HARVEST YOUR CHAGA?
Premium quality Siberian chaga mushroom grows only in limited areas. On the map, green color shows where chaga mushroom can be found in general. But yellow color shows where does the real, healing Siberian chaga mushroom grow. We collect our chaga mushroom from Russian Eastern Siberia taiga forests, Altai mountains, Tomsk region, Northern Irkutsk region and Khakassia. These are the areas with winter temperatures as low as -50 degrees Celcius. These huge regions are very thinly populated and have no industries around. The lack of industries and harsh climate conditions make our chaga ecologocally clean and free of any contamination.
IS YOUR CHAGA MUSHROOM WILDGROWN OR CULTIVATED?
Our chaga is hand picked from birch trees in the wilderness of Siberian taiga of Russia.
IS THERE ANY FAKE CHAGA EXTRACT ON THE MARKET?
- chaga extract can be made from fermented chaga, not from wildgrown chaga. In this case you won't get the real chaga benefits. Artificially grown chaga doesn't possess any chaga melanin (chromogenic complex) which is the most important attribute of wild chaga.
- Chaga mushroom can be dried and ground to a very fine powder which could be even water soluble. If added some colorants it might become similar to the real chaga extract. Only the structure of powder particles and taste can help to define whether it is the real freeze-dried extract or just ground raw chaga. The freeze-dried chaga extract has solid, glistening crystalls and doesn't smell like usual edible mushroom.
Take a look at the right hand picture: the label says 'Chaga powder' - there is no word 'extract'on it. This is not chaga extract powder.

Our chaga extract is made of 100% Siberian chaga mushroom. As any organic product chaga has its chemical composition which consists of many different constituents (polysaharrides, Beta-glucans, polyphenols, flavonoids, trace elements, vitamins and minerals). But only wildgrown chaga mushroom contains chromogenic complex – a set of humic acids / melanins which makes chaga so powerful. Raw chaga possess only about 15% of Chromogenic complex content, whereas good chaga extract should have minimum 40% (concentration of chromogenic complex). Our chaga extract has more than 50%!
OTHER WEBSITES ARE CLAIMING THAT THEIR CHAGA EXTRACT HAS A LOT OF BETULINIC ACID. IS IT TRUE?
We would not advice to take such claims seriously. First of all, chaga mushroom contains a very little amount of betulin - almost negligable. The source for betulin is a birch bark, not chaga. Then, in order to receive betulinic acid one has to process betulin - betulinic acid doesn't exist in nature - it should be derived from betulin first. This process is labourus and expensive and basically no company is selling it for private use.
